Welcome to the installation page for EDT Connect Lite.
You have been invited to install this
application by a document sender who wishes to send electronic documents to
you.
What is EDT Connect Lite?
EDT Connect Lite is a small
application that sits in your windows system tray and securely collects
documents from an EDT Hub. Once installed, you will not need to do
anything as it provides hourly automatic collections. Documents that are received through EDT
Connect Lite are placed in a folder called "EDT Inbox" which is located on your
windows desktop. You may then attach your incoming documents to the appropriate
patient records in your clinical system.
Important
If you are already a
Docman user you do
not need to install this application. Instead, please email
PCTI support and we will arrange to configure
Docman EDT Connect which will save time by auto-patient matching and filing of incoming
documents. All you need to do then is
workflow the documents to the people who need to see them. |
